We all love playing the game of King’s Bounty 2. But, unfortunately, there are some people who cheat in the game. They use mods that allow them to get unlimited gold. The trouble is that these mods are illegal, and that it will get you banned from playing the game. If you want to get more gold coins in the game, then you must follow the cheat codes given below.
King’s Bounty (AKA: The Curse of the Golden Throne) is a game that does not take itself very seriously. It is a side scroller action game set in the world of King Arthur, where the player is given the chance to fight, kill, and loot his way through a plethora of side-scrolling levels. The game is far from perfect (it does not take much to trigger the game to crash) but it has a strong core fanbase that have enjoyed the game for years.
So far I’ve managed to get about 40 gold out of the game, and I’ve managed to get about 80 from grinding. There’s one thing I’ve been wondering though: How the heck do you get more gold from the game without cheating? The answer is simple: You can’t. The gold you get from the game is all random, so getting more gold from the game without cheating is quite impossible.
In King’s Bounty 2, the fight for more money is genuine. With everything in the game costing so much and no real methods to grind for gold, you’ll have to employ every trick in the book to keep your wallets full.
And I’m here today to show you how to earn extra money in King’s Bounty 2. All of these techniques should be used to avoid the very real possibility of running out of gold and being forced to restart (or load an old save).
1. Keep an eye out for chests and treasure.
There are many treasure items strewn around the area that your character may gather. During your journey, you will come across chests, money bags, and a variety of other things.
The majority of these treasure boxes will contain currency, goods, or trash that you may sell for cash.
Keep in mind that most of them are concealed or at least not immediately apparent, so you should always spend some time exploring new places in quest of treasure.
You won’t be able to play the game until you gather all (or at least the majority) of these dispersed chests and other items. As a result, they are crucial!
IMPORTANT! The treasure items won’t be visible or highlighted while you’re riding your horse, and you won’t be able to pick them up. So, regrettably, walking is the only method to acquire these things.
2. Invest in talents that will enhance the amount of gold looted.
Spending those difficult-to-earn talent points on abilities that boost gold feels like a waste… However, if you run out of money and are unable to recruit soldiers, the game is effectively finished.
So, to be on the safe side, I’d suggest investing in at least one of the Anarchy skill tree’s abilities that boost the amount of money you may gather.
These are the following:
- a treasure seeker (Cache reward increased by 5 percent per level)
- Trophies are a kind of award that is given to (Victory rewards increased by 5 percent per level)
- Antiquarian (When selling goods to merchants, you will get extra gold.) To unlock it, you’ll also need 8 Anarchy points).
Now, I wouldn’t advise going for all three talents since it would be a waste of Talent Points. However, putting money into at least one of them early on will be very beneficial. Two, as I did, is a little excessive.
I suggest spending a talent point on the Trophies skill since battle win prizes are typically larger than those found in chests and other places, so you get more bang for your buck.
3. Sell your unwanted goods, as well as any weapons or armor you no longer need.
You’ll end up with a lot of trash from the different loot boxes you discover along the journey, as well as prizes from finishing missions and investing in new and better armor, weapons, and equipment.
These trinkets and other items are referred to as “junk” in the game and should be sold whenever you get the opportunity since they may earn you a lot of money.
However, keep in mind that any weapons or things that are no longer required should be sold. It’s pointless to carry around outdated things that might otherwise be used to build army troops.
Find a trader and sell your unwanted items!
Keep in mind that scrolls often sell for a very high price. So, if you have any extra after learning the spells, selling some may be a smart idea.
4. Carefully arrange all battles to save money.
In King’s Bounty II, improving your combat performance is perhaps the greatest method to earn more money. Of course, saying it is easier than doing it.
However, you will lose soldiers during fights – either partly (for some money) or completely (for no gold) (they are gone forever).
It’s terrible to lose soldiers indefinitely. Not just because replenishing their ranks is more costly (and sometimes you won’t even locate the identical soldier), but also because their cumulative experience is gone forever.
So, despite the fact that it is unavoidable, losing a whole squad of soldiers is a terrible experience in the game.
However, spend time analyzing your opponent, deciding whether you’re ready to face them, and only attacking when you’re certain your losses will be small. You won’t be able to keep up with the increasing expenses of maintaining your army if you don’t.
After treating your wounded soldiers, you should usually earn a profit after most (if not all) fights. If this isn’t the case, you should rethink your soldiers and/or plan.
5. Use armor to increase your gold earnings!
You’ll eventually come across things that will help you increase your profits from selling trash to merchants.
You should not sell these goods. Instead, equip them before making a trade and then replace them with a more combat-friendly gear.
Remember, any additional gold will come in useful in this game!
6. Make frequent backups
And instead of utilizing the same save again and over, save in different files. This way, if you run out of money later in the game, you may go back to a prior save rather of starting again.
It’s also a good idea to save just before a fight, particularly if you’re not sure how simple or tough it will be.
A lost fight – especially one in which you lose the majority of your soldiers – may be disastrous early on in the game. So it’s always better to be cautious than sorry!
It’s tough to keep track of how much money you have early on in King’s Bounty 2 especially throughout your first playing.
Even before speaking with the prince, I was nearly out of gold, and it wasn’t easy after that. However, things improve somewhat after this stage, as you may start selling the trash and looking for more.
However, keeping up with the rising expenses of paying for your army requires careful planning of your battles and ensuring that you lose as few soldiers as possible.
