Bless Unleashed is a gaming news site that provides players with the latest information about the game industry. The website has recently been shut down by its parent company, GameStop, due to lack of advertising revenue.
Bless Unleashed is a free-to-play action MMORPG that was released on Steam on September 15, 2018. It is available for PC and PS4. The game has been met with positive reviews from critics.
I kept seeing Bless Unleashed promoted on Steam’s main page, so I bought it and played it for about 10 hours, and I wanted to share my views. If you’d like to hear my views in an aural format, here’s a link to a video on YouTube that says pretty much the same thing: https://youtu.be/KdWerPzuHe8
But, beginning with the excellent things, here are my thoughts:
The game seems to be fantastic. It’s really beautiful in terms of graphics, and the animations assist a lot. I spent the most of my time as a Mage, and the spell casting looked fantastic and contributed a lot to the overall gaming experience.
The game does a great job of building up the narrative with the opening movie and tutorial part, and it teaches you the fundamentals, which is good since a lot of MMOs just give you with text lessons, which I found helpful as someone who is more aural and visual.
The game’s narrative (as far as I’ve figured it out) is fairly good; it’s not perfect, but it’s more than adequate in the big scheme of things.
This is a minor point, but the game provides you with a horse quite early on, which I like. Some MMOs take a long time to offer you one, and running may be tiresome.
Now for the stuff in the center (aka not bad not good)
This game is extremely corny, and the language, especially in cutscenes, may be a bit over the top. For example, in the tutorial, a character says, “I’m becoming too old for this,” which took me a minute to comprehend.
I haven’t run across this yet, but I’ve been warned about it before, so it’s worth mentioning, but after you hit level 25, PVP is always enabled. You can spend a lot of money to have it turned off for an hour, but that seems like a waste to me. I don’t mind since I used to play WoW on a PVP server for years, but I know other people will.
*Edit: I’ve heard that PVP isn’t always active. You can really turn pvp on and off, which is some misconception that has been passed about.
Finally, there’s the bad:
1: The music in this game is a nightmare. There are many places where a 30-second song would play on repeat the whole time you are there, which irritated me much.
The sound design and voice performance are both poor. The voices don’t always match the tone, and when two characters speak to one other, it seems like they’re in separate rooms (I’m a music production and sound design student at university, so this really grabbed my attention).
The quest system isn’t very good. When you accept a quest, it takes a long for it to appear in your tracker, and occasionally it doesn’t, which may make completing several missions at once unpleasant. Once the task does appear, the tracker performs a good job.
So, after approximately 10 hours, those are my short thoughts.
TL;DR Fun game, nice graphics, excellent narrative, terrible music and voice acting; for the best experience, turn off the sound.
Let me know what you think of the game in the comments!

So, with no other mmorpg to play besides Gloria Victis with my guild at certain times, I’ve chosen to check out the notorious Bless (Unleashed). Here’s a quick rundown of everything I learned when leveling up to 20: At the moment, the game has five classes: Mage, Berserker, Priest, Ranger, and Crusader. Yes, they do…
My Unvarnished Opinions On Modern Gaming
First, I’d want to provide some background information so you may understand where my ideas originated from. My earliest gaming experiences were on the PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2 (PS2/PSP). Instead of getting a PS3, I bought a laptop in 2008 to play a multiplayer mod for a game that didn’t have multiplayer at the time…
